Our sister company, the Shore Group deliver innovative support services that power projects in the built environment, property, retail, data and aviation sectors. Founded in 2008 as a construction recruitment company, The Shore Group has grown steadily and now generates over £220m in sales each year across a range of services.

The Shore Group help clients Build, Maintain & Resource projects across the UK — delivering scale, agility and exceptional outcomes. Delivered across the UK by over 450 employees and an extended workforce of 3,000+, our agile sector-driven services model makes us highly effective managing projects big and small.

The Group's journey from recruitment consultancy to construction services provider reflects their understanding of what the industry needs. Through considered growth and careful diversification, they've created a network of services that work well together, maintaining the focused approach that characterised their early years.

Working in close partnership, Shore Construction benefit from The Shore Group's central Business Services function including risk management processes, insurance, risk management, IT, HR and social value teams. This relationship provides us with solid operational foundations whilst allowing us to maintain our own identity and working methods. The Shore Group's established industry relationships, built over the years, help us access opportunities and partnerships that support our growth.

This shared service model allows Shore Construction to maintain an agile approach to project delivery and decision making, whilst still maintaining effective controls and risk management strategies as part of a larger group. We have access to proven systems and processes, including project management tools, financial planning resources, and reporting platforms that support our operations. The Group's procurement arrangements help us achieve better value through supplier agreements, contributing to healthier project margins.

Our lifecycle approach means we consider maintenance during design, specifying appropriate components and creating asset registers and maintenance schedules from the outset. This consistency is invaluable – the team familiar with designing and commissioning the building continue to support optimal building performance once the scheme completes.

Focusing on project delivery, The Shore Group has commercial innovation and risk management at its heart, ensuring sustainable growth built on solid foundations. With a multi-disciplinary approach, we can access specialist knowledge across the development lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to asset management. This breadth of experience helps inform our decisions, drawing on practical insights from across the group.

The Shore Group's service portfolio includes Site Logistics, M&E, Facilities Management, Retail Support and Civils, supported by integrated Resourcing and Payroll functions. Each division maintains relevant accreditations and invests in skills development and practical training. For example, the Site Logistics division manages multiple major projects annually, providing traffic management, security, waste management and materials handling – services we can incorporate into our developments when needed.

Each service works alongside one another, sharing knowledge and creating good outcomes for clients, workers and communities. Information flows between divisions through regular communication, joint training, and collaborative working. When one division identifies an improvement, it's shared across the group. When FM spots a recurring issue, it informs our design and construction approach, creating a useful feedback loop.

FULL VERTICAL INTEGRATION

The Shore Group have developed a construction supply chain since founding, comprising in-house teams and established supply partners. Combined with experience in construction contracting, M&E programme delivery and site logistics, this gives Shore Construction useful resources to support each project. This network includes vetted subcontractors and suppliers, evaluated for financial stability, technical capability, and alignment with our working methods. Framework agreements help ensure availability when needed, whilst ongoing relationships support continuous improvement.

Our delivery model allows us to mobilise efficiently, with qualified teams ready to work across multiple areas. Internal coordination through integrated project management systems helps information flow smoothly, reducing errors whilst supporting timely decision-making. The ability to self-deliver certain packages provides better cost control and programme certainty.
